Finalmente è stata annunciata l’uscita del primo, bellissimo disco dei Flying Sebadas, prevista intorno a metà novembre per l’etichetta cagliaritana Zahr Records. Lo potete ascoltare in streaming integrale su Rockit. Ne parleremo meglio più avanti, qui sul blog e ovviamente anche in radio. Intanto vi lascio con il video di Fix It live su On Repeat (datato, se non ricordo male, febbraio 2008).
I 100 dischi degli anni zero
Non avevo molta voglia di compilare una classifica dei 100 dischi più importante del decennio (secondo me, disclaimer d’obbligo), quindi alla fine ho optato per una semplicissima lista in ordine alfabetico. Per differenziarla un po’, ho messo a parte una sorta di top ten – anche questa in ordine alfabetico – e poi giù tutti gli altri.
E insomma, questa è la lista dei dischi che mi porterò dietro di questi anni zero. Il decennio che, per ragioni anagrafiche, ho vissuto musicalmente in modo più consapevole. Sono andato molto a sentimento e sono sicuro di aver dimenticato un mucchio di cose, ma compilare liste ovviamente non è una scienza esatta. Nei prossimi giorni comunque ci sarà modo di tornare sull’argomento con riflessioni più generali su quello che è accaduto in questi dieci anni… (Non ci sono italiani, che metterò a parte)

Se uno prova a dimenticare per un attimo tutto l’hype che c’è intorno ai The XX, concetti come next big thing (che a me provocano discrete eruzioni cutanee), l’aria afflitta vagamente poser che la band possiede come se portasse pesi nell’anima talmente grandi da risultare quasi incommensurabili, e un look da fashion victims ormai allo stadio terminale, ecco, se uno dimentica tutto questo - non ho detto che è facile, solo di provarci - non può che riconoscere che i The XX sono veramente bravi e che nella fattispecie questo pezzo è uno dei singoli dell’anno.

E come avvenuto nelle ultime settimane, anche stavolta avremo un ospite: Beatrice Antolini, che poi suonerà di notte a Cagliari, al Teatro Alfieri, in occasione della finale di Sottosuoni organizzata da Vox Day.

Oggi esce il nuovo singolo di Dente, Buon appetito, tratto da L’amore non è bello uscito per Ghost Records il 14 febbraio scorso. Era un po’ inevitabile che questo brano prima o poi sarebbe circolato anche come singolo, non fosse altro perché è una delle canzoni italiane più micidiali capitate di ascoltare da qualche anno a questa parte. Un vero e proprio inno all’amore finito, quasi un manifesto poetico dello stato post-rottura traumatica che fa il paio con la sottile perfidia delle parole (“vorrei non sapere più nemmeno dove abiti”). La vetta emotiva di uno dei dischi italiani più importanti di questa annata musicale. Questo è il video, anch’esso uscito ufficialmente oggi. Regia di Fabio Luongo.
